How to Better Train African Entrepreneurs?

A series of webinar organized by AIMS, Sciences Po and their partners

The BETAF project is organizing a series of conferences on entrepreneurial education in Africa.

They are rooted in a simple rationale. By better training African students in entrepreneurial skills, the African continent could create more businesses but above all more sustainable businesses that create jobs and are sustainable. This is the postulate adopted by the Bettering Entrepreneurial Training in Africa project team, which brings together researchers from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Sciences Po, in partnership with other African universities.

For several months, its members have been interviewing alumni of African universities to determine the know-how and entrepreneurial skills that they recommend to be included in the curricula of African universities in the years to come.

With those conferences, the time has come to give a voice to entrepreneurs, designers of entrepreneurial policies and specialists in entrepreneurial training. And this in order to reflect on solutions and mechanisms to create African ecosystems of entrepreneurial training capable of developing not only entrepreneurial vocations but also creating more successful trajectories in this field.
