ACCRA
Conference # 2 : What kind of Entrepreneurial Education to boost Entrepreneurship in Ghana?
Accra | Ghana - 04/04/2023 - 14:45 - 18:00 (GMT+0)
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
Our conference in Accra will be organised around two distinct panels which will try to take stock and discuss policies to bolster entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial training in Ghana. Both of those concepts aim at increasing the knowledge of entrepreneurship and its potential but also deepening key entrepreneurial skills, attitudes and competencies necessary to achieve entrepreneurial success.
Yet, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial training target two categories of people or stages of life. Entrepreneurial education occurs when students are attending academic institutions while entrepreneurial training focuses on people out of the educational systems (working or unemployed people) looking forward to joining the entrepreneur world.
Entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial training therefore represents two different ecosystems with their respective stakeholders, trends and dynamics. Hence, our decision to organize two panels to better understand their organization in Ghana and discuss reforms capables of fostering their growth.
